If its read alongside the times, i'd agree with you :p

I tend to read both the guardian and times so I can make up my own view inbetween the two :p

Margaret, from around 2005 the Guardian have run a Berliner edition of the paper. Just ask your newsagent :)

I was recently in the Isle of Wight and bought the Guardian....it kept me entertained all day...well, their telly is cr@p (interference from froggy TV).

I must disagree about French TV. Their Multivision and Canal providers offer some excellent films and other programming not unlike our Sky and much of it in English.

Neil, I was saying that the TV on the Isle of Wight is blighted by interference from the French TV stations...we couldn't get French TV in the hotel and the English TV was very badly affected by the interference, so much so that it was unwatchable...sorry for the thread wander.

Two classics in my opinion, "The last time I saw mouth like yours, it had a hook in it".
Anyone calls you 'bighead' reply;"Yes, but it will fit in your mouth"

That reminds me of Churchill's classic, when a certain lady said to him,"sir you are drunk" Churchill replied,"madam you are ugly but tomorrow i'll be sober".:D

Most of the time my insults are tame, especially around my niece and nephew.... silly billy or silly sausage type stuff.

I rarely have to resort to insults with Sparks as he is generally well trained now..;) :D

I will sometimes refer to people as dollopers, plums or prize damsons dependent on what stupid thing they've done..:)
