Got to be hard on the parents , I don't know how you get through to young uns about stuff like this, at that age you think your going to live forever.
Maybe putting the wrecked cars up on display at the center of round-a bouts as some sort of example ?, no clean-up, the cars in exactly the same state as it was after the accident, though I'm not sure that would work , how many times have we as adults/grown-ups seen pictures of smokers lungs and yet we still smoke.

Re: whalley road closed off

Apparently the report of this young man's death is false.....one of his so-called mates sent a text message to all his other friends yesterday saying he had died, and some of his friends even went out and bought sympathy cards.
How sick is that?
Anyway.......he is still very poorly, but at least he is alive.

Sorry for the earlier misinformation.:(

Pleased though that this lad is alive and hope he will make a good recovery, if only to have a go at 'his mate'.

They used to do something very similar on a lot of Army camps over the xmas period to try to deter people from drink driving.

If there is anyone of a religious nature out there...please say a prayer for this young lad and his family...they need all the help they can get at this moment. He is VERY poorly.
Thanks.
