Maybe, if he goes the whole hog, and veers even more to the centre, and walks across the floor of the House of Commons.;)

The war will lose them votes to the Liberals, and I predict a poor showing by the Conservatives. Who besides having a fairly charismatic leader, have very little substance, no track record, and very few stated policies which differ greatly from anything New Labour are doing.

(Remember it was I who won an acker fortune, predicting the winner of Big Brother in 2005.):D

They're already pointing out the direction they're going and im 100% sure there will be substance soon. Have to time it right so Labour dont just steal the ideas and implement them like they've already started to do.

Of course the electorate need to know what they're voting for, but they can't vote yet so it would be a waste of time releasing all the policies 3years in advance when we have no idea what the political, social or economic climate will be like.

That's a laugh. The Tories are becoming more like mirror images of New Labour every day.

Its arguably the other way around, Labour came over to the right wing territory back in 94 and since

Come off it. The hug a hoodie Conservative party of today, are as far away fron the hang 'em and flog 'em Tories of old, as is possible to be. That daft tree is taking a leaf, if you'll excuse the pun, from the Greens. What happened to the free market economy and ****** the consequences to the environment? Oh yes, that's right the New Conservative party has moved so far to the left that they now care about every liberal issue.
