Three attempts so far !! Next time let's all hope he does us all a massive favour and gets it right!:mad:

With you all the way just wish I could help him on his way. As Slinky said the parents should decide the punishment. He probably decided prison was boring so a change of scenery would do him good:mad::mad::mad: If he had any intentions of actually topping himself he would have done it the first time :mad::mad:

Huntley is back in 'Jail, the powers that be, are conducting an enquiry into how he obtained the medication There should be an enquiry into how the managed to 'short change' him on the stuff. How long are they, the powers that be, going to tollerate this lunatic wasting public money on enquiries?

attemting suicide THREE times and not succedding is a cry for help,so let the prison service help him by leaving a bottle of pills and a jug of water in his cell and forgetting to watch him for 24 hours, CASE CLOSED

I can agree with what KSH said in the fact that he'd suffer for the rest of his life, though I dont think he feels any remorse for his crime only the fact that he was caught. Personally though I'd rather his attempts work, also think that proven murderers with absolutely no doubt should be given lethal injection or whatever and save us tax payers some money. Really feel for Holly and Jessicas parents seeing this mans face all over the news and papers again.

It seems to me that Huntley is a coward and that has never had the nerve to really kill himself. If he reallly wanted to die he'd have done it properly by now. He's closely watched in Wakefield but so was Harold Shipman and he managed it.

The poor baby is having a tough time in prison...did he think it would be a cake walk then?
In my book it would only be tough if they made him work harder than he dreamed anyone alive could work, and fed him only just enough to keep his body and soul together.

The idea of 'an eye for an eye' has never sat well with me. However, as has been said before, the evil **** only feels sorry for himself. He should not have been allowed the chance to make this attempt. By all means the guards should look away when he is getting his head kicked in (and join in), but do NOT let him take the easy way out.

Personally I'd like to see him live to a ripe old age, no I don't agree with what he did one bit but if he manages to top himself then its all over for him, if he lives to a ripe old age then he has lots of years suffering, not suffering enough I agree but at least he's not lived a happy life, can't be happy now if he's trying to top himself

just what i was gonna say...;)

let the scum suffer

I agree. A hundred years ago there a sentence of Hard Labour and it was hard. Prisoners were often put on a treadmill for 10 hours or more a day and God help them if they didn't make that treadmill work. When capital punishment was abolished it should have been reintroduced.

Oh hell it would be good and solve the energy problem but human rights would get in the way. :D

Yes but those poor parents are the ones who must really be suffering.At least if he was out of the way his name wouldn't keep appearing on the news.

Re: Ian Huntley In Hospital

I can only imagine that Huntley must have been found collapsed or something in his cell, so effectively the prison warders have saved him. They should have just shut the little hatch on his door again and fabricated any paperwork they may have had to fill. There may have been an enquiry but it would have been the bloody last onne on his behalf :mad:
