Well, she is getting there shortly but slowy, it does take time this things, her son is a bit confused the little monkey but she is top of list so hopefully she will get things sorted soon

I'm not surprised he's a bit confused. Will he be able to go back to school as normal on Monday? That should help him settle a bit if some of his routine is restored.

i agree, she said she couldnt afford the deposit on a rented accomadation and if she could it would have to be low. especially with christmas only just gone aswell.

Emma has asked me to let everyone know that she now has her own house. She picks up the keys today. The next step is to furnish the place. :)

Woohoo brilliant news. :) Let's hope she can get the stuff she needs. Does she have anything from where she was before or did she have to leave it all behind?

The last I heard she was being denied access to her stuff, but that may well have changed. I dont know how these things work, but I cant see the Council finding her a home without also helping with basic furnishings i.e beds

was just thinking (as you do) if Em gets in touch with bonnyboy and tells him what she needs furniture wise maybe we could all look on freecycle for her, i'm sure we could get her sorted out with every item of furniture she needs between us

She needs basically just about everything so anything anyone knows of will probably be some use to her - unless we all get her a table and she ends up with a couple of dozen tables and no chairs!! :D

well i have a dinning table and 4 chairs for her if she wants it, if she has a dinning room that is, and if someone can pick it up for her
