She's done that well that I turned up with a box full of stuff and the microwave and a friend had just delivered a brand new one that was an old dears that was never used!!!

So now I still have a microwave in my boot :D

Poor lass seemed almost embarressed to say she had just been given one...so bet she's really hiding about 3 of everything :p

Got a text off Emma earlier this evening saying that she was settling in nicely, but that she had heard I had been “sticking up for her” here on AccyWeb…I said that no ****** had said owt in order for anyone to have to stick up for her. Any ideas folks ?

You are 100% correct in saying that her being sorted out is what matters most. Just that I have not seen the need formyself nor anyone else to have the need to stick up for her....have I missed something :confused:

It's crap what happened Em, But I am so pleased that the kind people of AW DID IT AGAIN!! :D

It's brilliant reading a happy ending. I'm not sure if she has everything she needs, but I will keep my eyes open around the house for things she may need.

I can’t say that I have ever had the need to stick up for her and she is well aware that my initial thoughts were similar to yours, in as much as her initial situation was just a lovers tiff of sorts :)

1. I think people can “stick up” for themselves, it’s not my place to do it.

2. I am not by her side. I have met her once. There are others on this forum that have been of far greater support to her than I over the last few weeks.

3. I was initially of the same mind as you and told her so, so I guess to that extent I am honest and do consider myself a friend.. Others here have demonstrated a greater friendship than myself. I have had little or no involvement over the last few weeks.

I don't think any of us realised how serious it was at first Bonnyboy when JamButty was slagging us all off for not helping it really hadn't dawned on most of us how urgent the need was.
