so Gary, answer me this then, does that make the he-she's partner a lesbian or staight?

To me they are just a lesbian couple who've had a baby, like thousand of others have before them.

The fact that one of them (the mother) has a double mastectomy, and who takes hormones to give herself facial hair, a deeper voice etc., is neither here nor there.

She can legally be classed as a man in U.S. law, but to me she isn't, mainly because she still has the female reproductive organs she was born with, which has allowed her to become pregnant, and subsequently give birth.

S/he isn't a pregnant man.

not sure about the "wife" but I suppose the "husband" is best described as either a bisexual-transsexual or a transsexual-bisexual , maybe someone with an English O Level could tell us which is gramatically correct ;) :D

LET and Accy Observer are very short of investigative journalists in fact are short of good journalists, period.
Having reached a conclusion such as the aformentioned.
I nominate Garinda as the Accyweb Sleuth and Blazy as his legal advisor. :tongueout
Happy new year to one and all.
My Captain Morgan is kicking in...only 50 mins here for the fireworks to start. :)

That's the way I see it too.

I don't know why they say pregnant man.

She is a woman who takes hormones to try to look and sound like a man.

I could go on at this all night but I am about to celebrate New Year in 10 minutes...dont forget we are 1 hour in front of you.
I think I might be chewing a brick although with my peggies it might be difficult.
I think another saying would be in order 'Very difficult to educate pork'.
Have a very prosperous new year and make a new years resolution.....I promise not to be a smart arse. :)

Would be very interesting to see what would happen if HE/SHE was ever given a jail term Rindi, as you have said she is classed as a man in US law, could be a bit dodgy to say the least:eek:

I would bet that if faced with a stint in the pokey this wo/man would be screaming blue murder for a milk n honey prison. The hassle it would cause if this wo/man was sent to a beef steak state pen for the guards and govener would be immense and very expensive. There may be many very liberal views around in the 21c but the line has to be drawn somewere because if not mahem will ensue.
