That's so sad. My one hope in life is at the end I have no major regrets in life, and I guess so far I've been lucky.

On a cheerier note, I'd also like to go back to 1969, and go to Woodstock...but not as the four year old I was in 1969, that would be bad...man.:mosher:

Dont laugh but I would love to travel back in time to America before the Native Indians were killed and ousted from THEIR country, to live on an Indian Reservation as a squaw, learning their values and spiritulism

Why are you all going back?

I want to look forward - it would help to know whether there really are going to be major natural disasters in 2012 (olympics aside ) as Mayan prophesy foretells.

If civilisation is due to collapse I will get busy spending and enjoying my 'rainy day money' because with that sort of 'rainy day' it wouldnt be worth a light.

That's a strange question, from someone with an encyclopedic knowledge of ancient Britain.

By looking to the past we have the possibility of a better future.;)

Knowledge of the past is available to anyone interested enough to find out

The future is the unknown -knowing that would more influence what we do in the present, and maybe we would change that future by present actions. We can learn a lot from the past but can plan better by knowing the future.

Shucks Gary - I'm not up to all this deep physics theorising right now.

There's always one.:D

Give me half an hour to adjust the controls to forward, and just for you, you can boldly go, or more correctly go boldly, into the future.:D

I would love to be in the court of Elizabeth l .. watching this strong lady rule the country and all the wonderful developments that happened during her time.

Would also like to talk to Anne Boleyn the night before her execution to let her know what a wonderful Queen her daughter will be.

Only one condition I will travel on your time machine Garinda. Can I please take with me hair dryer, curlers, straighteners, make-up, soap, antiperspirant, hair lice lotion, toilet paper, etc., ? Would hate to pick anything nasty up ... :D

Ok, you can pack a few things in a small bag, as long as it'll fit under the seat, though no glass bottles are allowed.:p
