Just by the act of turning up and taking your ballot paper you have "voted".

Right i think this is stupid, i dont care if anyone is being racist towards me, at the end of the day im half english with english nationality, gayle i wasnt having a go at you i just thik that because of this stupid voting thing we are all turning against each other wich i dont want that to happen, i dont have anything against anyone or anything said in this forum, thats what it is, a forum to discuss opinions, i think we should just leave it as it is before it gets worse, i like coming here to spend nice time and thats it.

It`s bizzare. The polls show very low turn outs but Accy Web is a hotbed of political debate. It`s a shame the candidates can`t tap into this but seem more concerned about scoring points off each other in the Yah Boo Sucks type of politics that goes on nowadays. I can understand why people don`t vote, the spin , the apathy. You don`t know what these people stand for and I personally would`nt trust half of them. I did vote and I voted for the person who got off his backside and went on the knocker. All the leaflets, after a cursory glance went straight in the bin.
