My ex didn't stop me, he just didn't want to see anything associated with giving blood as he was afraid of needles, and as the plaster made him think of it it was just unreasonable to give blood.

well, he's got moral objections to pretty much everything that breach human rights, animal rights, anything to do with anythings rights :p he's a vegetarian, a quaker, pretty much just gentle and lovely and the complete opposite of me.

However we won an interesting debate against our labour club friends yesterday regarding hate speech. Lots of fun.
