Well I've never come across that before :confused: maybe the hospital just discriminate against those who they think might do it, but I've never known a hospital to not reveal that information, and I've got 3 friends pregnant at the mo, 2 of which found out the sex of their babies at the scan and one who has been told she will find out at hers which is in a few weeks.

I know of a hospital down south where they won't tell the mothers the sex of the baby because of the fear of aborting a girl.

So, do we now have a variation on the original story? The babies are still in hospital but the Mum has been discharged. Nothing unusual in that. I still think they are pushing it though if they want to have another go with IVF to try for a boy. They could end up with more girls. As the Dad is getting on a bit and the Mum no spring chicken who is going to look after these children as they grow up?

So does the mother want the babies?
Or does she still not want them cos they are girls?
Is she just "tending to their needs" in the crucial first few weeks?
Then flying back to India to get treatment in hope of boys?

none of the parents are goin back to get more ivf

it was sensationalist tabloid journalism that the mail love to publish to dupe naive readers into thinking this is what the asian folks did.

i guess they know the hospital wont release their names and there's a chance the asian couple wont come out publicly for whatever reason so they think yeah we can publish tripe like this and ppl will go for it.

LOL, I laughed out loud at this. Two of them got pregnant willingly and are in stable relationships, both paying for their own homes, 1 renting, 1 has a mortgage , the other, well she made a mistake but so what.

Maybe they did ask how soon she would be fit enough to try IVF again. Maybe she does want to try again. None of us know her so how do we know.
