I'm wondering what happened to the rule of foul language regardless of '**'s?

Does it only apply to some members of the forum and not others?

Mancie is above the rules of the forum clearly. I considered starring an extra word onto my comeback, but I thought 'bull' alone was adequate enough :p seemed to shut him up anyway. :rolleyes:

Sometimes you can be the same breed but completely different. Maybe we should've called each others dogs and bitches, but it wouldn't quite have had the same effect.

So it's fine to break the rules so long as nobody reports it?

Lots of people kind of see it that way when it comes to the law too! Most of them end up in prison though once they get caught. Not a good attitude to have really.

Depends how you see it, this is a family forum after all and if there are adults saying its fine to break rules as long as you don't get caught then it's sending out a bad message to youngsters that use the forum.

But who cares, I said don't go to school on time so we might as all eff and blind as well, it's not like accy is full to the brim of model children waiting to be corrupted. Half of them have a vocabulary of filth that some of us could only dream of. Long live Accrington.

Also, I think many people would jump at the opportunity to be a moderator, so if there isn't enough men to man the ship then perhaps they should get recruiting.

Bending them not breaking them there is a difference ad a modicum of common sense would show that.

As for the model children ie those as pure as angels are they not the sort that are spoilt brats in secret who hit the booze and drugs as a form of rebellion against the pure restricted living forced upon them? Or do they wait for higher education and go on a 3 year bender and expect to pass?

I give up, I really couldn't care less whether your kids grow up to be chavs, I don't see why I should even care. I presume I haven't got any of them on my summer schools this week otherwise someone would've mentioned it.

It's quite nice to know that there ARE kids from accy trying to make something good of themselves though. It's funny how I am just disrespected here but given plenty at university for my involvement with widening participation and youth work. However I keep reminding myself that the people here have actually met me, whereas you lot just want to make whatever you want out of me when it see's fit.

Most of the students I know from families with successful parents and have had a wealthier life seem to have a stronger work ethic in my experience, but perhaps that is because I'm on a competitive degree and nobody goes on 3yr benders.

Thats why we have them as a problem because high mind arrogant people look down on those who didnt get a chance like you got. When they start to make your life the pits then what will happen you shove the blame on others. :mad:

and thats why britains a laughing stock full of pillocks who have no idea what their actions have an affect on other people;)the ones who have work ethic get no where .the ones who are sly arselickin two-faced get everywhere and downright liars get eveywhere.there is no room in this country for hard working honest people thanks to thatcher and her facist cronies;)
