Problem is I am not sure that we are dealing with either of the above nowadays.Or rather we are but in different guises

if ya had said many people, i would have echoed that sentiment, everyone is very sweeping n says more than a book. so we must disagree.

I wonder if our Mr Jones has been drinking funny juice and Mancie is actually the product in a dual personality, jekyll and hyde sort of thing???

And on a serious note Mancie, all i have been able to take from your posts, is that you are a very rude, agressive and ignorant person. Any validity behind any argument is lost in the foul way you speak to other members on this forum.

Saying that though, if you are a Tory in disguise, you're doing a fantastic job

I agree with you panther I find politics boring:D hell I should have stayed in last night missed all the fun, couldn't believe how much this thread had grown since 5pm yesterday. At the end of the day politics is one of the most emotive subjects you can discuss, politics is about oppinions and everybody has one, but at least you are allowed to air your views in this country, others arn't so lucky. politics is about today and tomorrow not yesterday, parties change, Labour had to change to become electable, the Tories have had to change, but the haven't changed their core values. Something that you must remember is that the rich and famous do not elect Tory Governments, the ordinary man in the street do that, it does not matter how much money you have you only get one vote. I respect other peoples views, and would never think that I could change there political oppionion, in fact one of my lifelong friends once stood aginst PB, but it made on difference to our friendship, in fact we had a long chat and a pint last Thursday, and never mentioned politics once, and thats the way it should be and always will be ith me

Football is an emotive subject to millions of people too. On here it has it's own forum and if a football discussion gets brought in to the general forum, people object and it gets moved to where it should be. Maybe we can have a politics forum where people can bore the crap out of themselves and leave it there :)

religion and polotics are just as bad as each other for causing trouble and its mainly because both rely on lies to exist ;)

That's very blinkered, suprise, suprise.

There are very affluent areas of south London. In Battersea and Clapham some people feed their cats smoked salmon sandwiches, with the crusts cut off.

Just as north of the river, in places like north Kensington and Islington, there are families who'd think it was a treat to have a Whiskas curry.;)
