Strikes next week too..

With more disruption tomorrow and next week, what should the outcome be?

Re: Strikes next week too..

i strongly recommend people to disregard this poll, cyfr has no idea whatsoever about negotiation, or if he does he is being evading the true basis of negotiation, i fer one will completly ignore this fallacy.

me too and I am one of the ones affected, although not in the union, my company only sets the pay through the union

Re: Strikes next week too..

The options on your poll are slightly restrictive to say the least, as a UNISON member who has been on strike there is no way we will get 6% but with all negotiations you aim high and come to a compromise. It's probably hoped that we would get nearer to the inflation rate. I personally would accept 4% however I feel we will be lucky if we get it increased to 3%

Re: Strikes next week too..

I'm fine for the poll to be remade to read 'above 2.45%' rather than 6%. I only wrote what they were asking for on the BBC. I will PM mick now.

Re: Strikes next week too..

it completly insults the intelligence of anyone with common sense,

hedman2003 16-07-2008 23:36

Re: Strikes next week too..

above 2.45% and 6% still leaves a lot of scope and will not give any common sense response to your poll

The option of no rise is also not an option since the employers have already offered 2.45%, if they then offered nothing there would be civil war!!

Re: Strikes next week too..

This is for accyweb people to give their opinion on what they think, its not binding. Clearly not going to suit everyone with the poll. Pm'ed mick about making it say 2.45+

Just thought I would quote myself from the Bin Strike thread seeing as no answer was forthcoming

Simple answer, no.

Re: Strikes next week too..

You have a fine career in politics mapped out because you evade answering direct questions!! Gayle asked you to give examples of innocent people detained as suspected terrorists, no reply. And I asked you if our MP's were happy to in effect settle for less than a rise in their pay and once again you didn't answer!!! The world is your oyster as long as you stick to politics as you are quite adept on not answering questions just deflecting them!!!

agree with most bernie, but not with "fine career in politics" think the highest he will ever reach is local level.
