I would like to take this opportunity on behalf of Support Our Soldiers, Nic(Onlyme) and myself to say a big thankyou to all you kind people of Accrington who have made this years xmas parcel appeal a very successful one.
Between Nic and myself we have reached our given target and managed to get 200 parcels out to the troops in Afghanistan and Iraq. This couldnt have been done without your help and contributions, I would personally like to thank Mick and Anne for allowing their home to become a drop off point and also Emzy for giving her precious child free time up to help with the pack and wrap. Our parcel appeal is ongoing throughout the year and we are always here to offer a shoulder to worried families back home who would just like to talk. The lads out here are greatful for the gifts you send.
