I am with that comment.

Sadley though the administration is so wired up to cloud cukoo land and suported by the airy fairy brigade that they would walk around with there heads held high. Add to that the worst case of selective deafness around and we are in the poo poo. They were quite happy to have the gurkas bolster the British army but when it comes to the crunch they are treated like the dog muck on the bottem of their highly polished, expensive shoes.

What do they think the gurkha's of the past were military slaves, convinient cannon fodder or both? Let them the pre "97" troops have the same rights that Commonwealth troops are afforded. The fact that they were based in Hong Kong has in my oppinion nothing to do with the issue as Hong Kong was a Crown colony protectorate or whatever it was and therefore British. Would they do that to any soldier that had been based at Gib if Gib was handed back to Spain?

Sorry, dont celebrate yet.
The news only applies to men with 20 years or more service.
The ordinary Gurkha can only achieve 15 years so it does not apply to them.
Yes, it should apply to all Gurkhas,not just officers.

Any British soldier will tell you the worth of Johhny Gurkha.

We have a lot to be thankful for.

To the above point how many officers are Gurkha as oppossed to British Officers? Think its a case of one of the largest body swerves around!!!!
