Well he supported the Tory 'rebels' who opposed the bill.

All this anti-Tory guff is probably just a cover, a double bluff.

He's probably just some generated 'bot, working out of Conservative H.Q. in Victoria Street, Westminster.

I wouldn't perhaps go that for.

You're more of a Tory tool.

I have never complained about the abuse I have been made to suffer through my days on this forum..abuse that could make a strong man weep... but to be honest the abuse ...I feel in myself..has come to a limit when members use open post stating ...I am a Tory!... there are limits to what any man can take.. don't do it again..

Of course this would not have got through the House of Commons but for the back handers given to the Independents.
Suppose you could call it buying votes,No other word for it.:hidewall::hidewall:

Are we done discussing Mancie's political views? Back on topic any time soon?

I'm one of the few on this board who is firmly against the 42 day detention. It seems to have slipped the mind of the think tank dwellers to make the counter terrorism authorities better at their job in the time allocated (less red tape perhaps?) before ignoring human rights.

Sorry, you can't have it both ways.

It's the 'human rights' of your poor suspected terrorists, that has created the mountains of red tape.

Those of us who were and still are against the increase to 42 days detention without charge shouldn’t rejoice too soon.

The Home Secretary has announced that she will re-introduce the bill at some future date.
