A quite predictable, rabble-rousing response there. You went straight for the most extreme case didn't you.

OK then...The act of paedophilia is, quite rightly, a crime which should be punished with the full force of the law, as should any act which supports it.

Should the law prevent people expressing views on it? Right thinking people would disregard these views and any proponents would find themselves ignored. It is after all only debate we are talking about here.

You made your point clear that you regard a society as civilised when it restricts what can and cannot be said. I am sure that you will fit in well in your future job as director of the Ministry of Truth.

I also see Jambutty wandered off thread in post 31, when he pointlessly posted that I'd said I was a klutz, and he thought it was an admission.

Not an admission, just an illustration that I'm the first to mock myself. Usually because I'm soooooooo much better at it than anyone else.;)

:D

There were 'political' organisations in the 60's, in the Netherlands and the U.S.A., where they advocated their right to talk and campaign for adult/child 'love' to flourish.

Happily their right to free speech, to campaign for their sick ideals, have now been taken away.

Freedom of speech should be absolute.

I draw the line when someone else's human rights are violated by someone claiming to have the right of freedom of speech.

Freedom of speech and deliberately upsetting people should not be confused yet you don't seem to see any difference.

I do remember one time MargaretR chastised you for it though, and she mentioned incontinence in her reply, if that rings any bells for you.

I’m sure you can’t be bothered because you KNOW you will not find anything.

Strange how you could be bothered to make such an allegation in the first place.

You are nothing more than a manure stirrer.

Happily in most decent civilisations there are limits on what can and can't be said.

We could start off with your posts.

Agreed.

Happily we live in a civilisation where you can be prosecuted for preaching hate, from whichever end of the political spectrum.

Stuff the freedoms of those who preach hatred.
