I see HBC are phasing the replacements. Lots of vehicles have the old signage and only the new vehicles have the new paint jobs. I remember not long ago people moaning about the cost of repainting all the vehicles

Don't omit to mention Andrewb, some Conservative voters also switched to B.N.P. not just labour voters, hardly surprising as back in the mists of time the torys secretly funded the "Blackshirts" plus i think its very condescending to say some of them going to BNP as allowed them to get Euro MPs, again hardly surprising from someone with your mentality.:tongueout

I see from yesterday's Telegraph that the new County Council leader refers to the rose as the 'Tudor Rose'. What an idiot! The Red Rose is the rose of the House of Lancaster. The Tudor Rose came about after the accession of Henry Tudor and combined the red with the white Yorkshire rose as a gesture to unite the previously warring elements and became the rose of England - but I don't need to tell you lot that, do I?

Someone, though, needs to have a word in this fool Driver's ear, because if we're going to start sticking a Tudor rose on the LCC letterhead instead of the Lancashire Rose we are going to look a complete bunch of plonkers.

I just loved what the new leader said

"Unlike Labour, we do not think the people of Lancashire care about logos, but they do care about our services.”

Erm, hang on a minute, you've been in office for 10 minutes and the first thing that you've done is change the logo - who's more bothered about logos? :D
