I hate that one too... What's wrong with the beginning of the day or the middle of the day? :D It's a completely meaningless phrase which should be outlawed.

The adjective is of course dependent on the level of ignorance. The flexibility is really what wins it for this phrase.

'Right? yeah!'........as used when someone is explaining something and they think you understand it and they say 'right? yeah!'........I feel like saying 'no, it isn't right....I haven't the faintest idea what you are talking about'......the phrase can also be reversed in the same kind of situation....as in 'Yeah? Right!'.... I hate it.
I also find this latest pandemic virus being referred to as 'swine flu' tedious.
It is the H1N1 virus......how hard is it to call it that?

Hate it when someone is relating a tale then every so often they actually say blah blah blah.

Guilty of all the above at some stage, except Retlaw's; took me a bit to sort them out.:D Also Flashy's 'chillax' .. never heard that before ..

I dislike lots of buzzwords but, again, have found myself using them when you are surrounded by people who constantly use them :

Thinking out of the box.
Netiquette.
Mapping.
Going forward.
Innovation ... due to the fact that the derivative 'Innovative', I always struggle to say first time.
Best Practice.
Downsizing.
Wellness.
Out of the loop.
Mission.
Blah, blah, blah ... LOL.

The one I hate the most is 'guesstimate' .. yes, have used it and apologised for doing so.

Can't stand anyone saying 'you guys' when it is obvious I am a gal.

Just notice how many people now say, "The proof is in the pudding". The proof is not in the ******* pudding, the proof of the pudding is in the eating!!!
