Don't think you need to go any further than to drive through West-End and see the idiots go round the wrong side of the traffic island to overtake at....................speeds far in excess of the 30mph limit.

in fairness sometimes you have to go the wrong side of a traffic island because some moron has parked blocking teh legal side like on fielding lane for example

Used fielding lane for years, don't think I have ever seen that, but I've seen plenty at west end where idiots overtake on the wrong side of the traffic island

I have been overtaken by a young lad on Fielding lane when he went the wrong side of the traffic island. I suggested to him outside the Spar what would to him if he did it again.

Did he not report you for threatening and aggressive behaviour, also lucky you did not get pulled for speeding, chasing him to the Spar

He must not have liked me sticking to the speed limit in a built up area with a lot of kids about because of the park.

Quite right to stick to that when kids are about.

I am a good boy in built up areas. Only exceed the limit on motorways really and then by less than 10% ;)

Just enough to stay legal then. A very wise move on the motorway.

I took the advise of Sargent Plod last year when he stopped me on the M6.

He was on the M65 about to pull a Mini over that was doing 90 when he noticed I was catching him. :D

He decided to see if I would push it past the magic number. I did not so he told me to chill out in future. No speeding ticket and no funny taste after he let me go :D
