Good news about the money Kate, they told me it would take three to four days for new card to come through

Kate, it is good to hear that she has been re-imbursed so quickly, but an imbuggerance about having no card to access the money.......fingers crossed it will arrive soon.

Yeh, that's about right Bernie... fairly quick though. Just all the blooming inconvenience in the meantime eh ? Heartless these thieves.

Ok .. my daughter would never be in a position whereby her family would not see her in any sort of trouble, but must be lots of people out there that would be ... :(

I had to do that with all three of my cards last year.
Lucky for me when I called the ## back that called me
It was weird the way they were talking so I called my two banks
and did a cancel cards there and then. Cheeky Buggers called me
back and asked for a new card # since the card "on File" didnt work

Just a little wonder, my Daughter who lives in China was burgled just before Xmas,had her laptop and two mobile phones taken and around £200 in cash, the plod came, and one of them asked for the mobile numbers rang one and the thief actually answered, the plod then asked him to do the right thing an turn himself in to the nearest cop shop,:eek: he declined the request, surprise surprise:rolleyes:

The police had dozens of mobile numbers in my case that they could have rung and traced but couldn't because of the human rights act.Or so they said.:confused::confused::mad::mad:

Progress of sorts been made, managed to contact customer services at O2. They are going to investigate it and ring me back within forty eight hours with the relevant information for the bank.
