I thought it was a partial 'climb down', at least according to the news I heard?

Still, nice to share some good news for a change.

Didn't Greg do an online discussion thing some years ago? Only a few people were on line and I was still on normal telephone internet then and not broadband so it was incredibly slow. But it was an interesting exercise.

I think it would be good to do it as an open forum but you could also have someone transcribing for the internet. Covers both bases and everyone gets to ask questions.

One thing I would say is "don't call it a 'hustings'" most people wouldn't have the foggiest idea of what it was.

A friend of mine went to a question and answer session at St Mary's College in Blackburn and Graham Jones was one of the speakers.

Her verdict was that he came over really well, was extremely knowledgeable, able to get his point over and very earnest but that came over as a little bit humourless at times. So, in other words, the minor improvement that they offered was that he could relax and smile a bit more often.

Oh, and apparently blew the prospective Conservative candidate for Blackburn out of the water :D

Thanks for that Gayle. Went in tired and off the cuff.

Could I just say that Graham is quite chilled when he's in the pub with us (and, I hasten to add that, unlike me, he's on the non-alcoholic stuff!). :D
