Is it open now? went past the other day and the place was all closed up, if thats the case thats great as is my docs and need a repeat prescription haha

The Victorian tiles on that sweeping staircase were magnificient - spent many happy nights in there in the late '50s/early '60s. Last time I went in there there was an Asian landlord/barman and all the clientelle were asian - except me and i quickly decamped to the Thorn.
