Couldn't we all, mate!

I should just point out that reading Accyweb isn't their sole occupation, but if you really want to stir up a hornet's nest then come online between 12pm and 2pm and write something truly wicked about the controlling group.

Ever heard the one about the cook who cost HBC over £8,000?

There once was a chef called Zilli.....

Good grief no. Might inflame my 'bloated ego'.

I'll say this much for getting elected, all sorts of things get said about you which are inaccurate but very amusing.

Thats good though that you can laugh along and not take things too seriously, I bet alot of people call you just to try and wind you up and get a reaction! :D

First two rules of survival in politics as far as I can see:

1. Don't be afraid to admit sometimes that you've cocked up

2. Be able to laugh at yourself

I held a surgery in Rishton last week and a long-running sore point came up which I thought we'd sorted out in July but it turns out we were badly informed. To try and defend a wrong decision that wasn't really our fault would have been absolute suicide, the residents were far more appreciative of a bit of honesty that things hadn't gone according to plan.

Thanks for the karma!
