Hyndburn Council Web Site

The Hyndburn Council web site trumpets that it is an "Excellent" Council, but its news page is 1 to 2 months out of date. The Leaders viewpoint talks about what is happening tomorrow (June 26th) and the Annual Meeting of the Council will apparently be held on 26th May.

Not altogether certain what you mean Gynn. Think it is fair enough. The Leader's Viewpoint covers all types of events which are still ongoing/some held and general comments. Will probably change when none of it is useful ... or when Cllr. Britcliffe has something else to inform us of... sure won't be long.

Only mistake there is was issued on Thursday 24th June and quoted an event for 'tomorrow' but did quote the date and day of Saturday 26th June. This would be nit picking. Something before schedule for a change ...LOL.

All meetings are held there on a list and also show past and current meetings ?

Errr ... well, the Leader's Viewpoint covers all events ... some have gone, some on going plus his other viewpoints. So nothing wrong with it still being up there.

There is a list of all council meetings ... some gone (with reports) and some to come.

Savvy?

If anyone else found my explanation difficult, please let me know and I will try and do better.

Nearly three months on from my above post, and the website is STILL telling us that the Annual Meeting will take place on 26th May.

How sloppy is that? Surely there is someone at the Council charged with looking at the website news more often than once every 5 months?
