Saw the Baroness on Question Time, some time past, and she genuinely impressed me. Common sense, talked by a sensible northern lass, even if she is from Yorkshire. Spoke well on the need for equality for all. Sadly doesn't support civil partnerships, and associated legal benefits. So lost my admiration, for being yet one more hypocrite. Supports equality issues, as long as it's for race, or gender, and not for what she called sinners. Right on, sister. |

Not very good judgement on Ed Milliband's part giving Phil Woolas the shadow immigration brief knowing that the result of this court action was imminent . Surely he must have gone to the trouble of finding out the nature of the lies Woolas put into print .
