So, come on, let rip! ;)

Took the words right out of my mouth Wynonie..and in these times of inflation and cuts in the incomes of the lowest earners... the tax payer will have to pay out millions for someones wedding... or will the Con-Dems tone down the expense of this wedding to reflect the misery they are causing ?... like down to the registry office, then all pile back to the community centre for salmon paste sarnie's and sausage rolls from Iceland? :)

Royal Wedding

the annoucement that there is to be a royal wedding next year , brought back memories of the street party we had when Charles and Di got wed , i'd have been about 6 or 7 at then time and me and the rest of the kids were all in fancy dress , there were flags and banners and balloons and long tables were everyone sat down to eat , 2 children dressed up as bride and groom and when had a mock wedding

it got me thinking if it would happen again ? is the communinty spirit still there ? Is the Royal Family still what is was ?

Re: Royal Wedding

I watched the Charles 'n' Di wedding on a beach in St. Tropez.

A hefty German woman was stood right behind me, with her burnt, free hanging baps, threatening to suffocate me.

I saw this as a bad omen, that one day they'd go their separate ways.

I spent Silver Jubilee week in Italy - such drastic avoidance measures will not be possible for me next year, but I have developed the habit of not watching TV so I don't expect it will intrude in my life much.

Frankly my dears I don't give a damn.

I bet the day of the wedding there will be plenty of money to flood the streets of London with police while the poor souls of Lancashire can't get a response to kids trashing their cars.
