Aye,I reckon so - thats if people have jobs to go to.

Innit funny how history repeats itself. When his parents got married back in '81 we were two years into Thatcherism...unemployment was going through the roof, factories shutting down, Accy a mess..etc. Come next summer it will be a year of coalitionism - if it lasts that long. Unemployment will be going through the roof, market stalls shutting down, Accy a mess....

Funny, isn't it, how this story breaks just a few hours after this one...

BBC News - Government to compensate ex-Guantanamo Bay detainees

Surely that nice Mr Cameron wouldn't indulge in something so underhand as diversionary tactics...would he? ;)

It will take the poor downtrodden masses minds off all the gloom that they are going through. Just think of all the street parties and celebrations no doubt paid for by tax payers. :D:D:D:D

Oh joy!

I hope they get the timing right, I wouldn't want it interfering with the broadcast of one of the major soaps.

He should make a few bob if he knocks out some "Stuff the Wedding" T shirts.

I trust he's already got the "Stuff Tesco" T shirts for the weekend.

I wonder how long this marriage will last? I can't see it going more than five years.
