Another well established shop to close, this time its The Wool Shop on Bank Street.

A notice in the window says it will close on Dec 1st, but gives the impression that if they manage to sell the stock, it will close earlier.

Real shame!

The Art Shop just further down on Bank Street is also closing, having a retirement sale now.

lets have bets on what the old JJB shop is going to be shall we? Charity shop or Poundshop or maybe another bookies? another phone shop?

you could actually fit the whole outdoor market into that place

Was talking to one of the staff the other day. They think a couple of the other sports chains are interested. Would think Sports Direct would probably be best fit.

Always sad to see another store go that way, I feel for the staff, it's a bloody awful way to lose your job, and thru no fault of your own. :(
