Last time I stuck it in a cupboard and forgot about it!

Why do they need to know what qualifications you've got?

Well it gives um some idea where all the numpties are:rolleyes:

As I havn't been here at Accy Web for so long, I can see just what has gone on here! :confused:You basically repeated something that Flashy said in her first post, which isn't a problem! But this misunderstanding wouldn't have occured if you had said "I agree with you!"

So it's obviously a case of too much time posting messages on this forum lol :D

What so they know where to build the schools or not bother as the case may be?

I wonder how many numpties will be putting "Jedi" down as their religion? :p

Or Neds (Not Educated Dummies)

I have Parkinson's.

So writing anything by hand now, means it's down to Lady luck if my scribbles are legible.

Since I now know it can be filled out online, it will mean the form isn't splattered with blood, sweat, and tears, like my Christmas cards usually are.

:D

You did, and I was very grateful.

At that time even opening the envelope would have been a challenge, nevermind filling it in.

:D

i bet their nativity play is much better as well as dueling with light sabers has to be much more fun than watching 3 idiots give a pressie to a baby that joeseph secretly thinks is his best mates:)

I for one am tempted to put down Jedi, I don't have a religion, and I think alot of people do for a bit of a laugh and a rage against the machine :D

Don't see what all the fuss is about , the same info about you can no doubt be geaned from various other sources, mine's filled in. Think about the Domesday Book and all the info that people have learned from that, it was essentially the same thing, and if you are of a religious bent, wasn't the census the reason that Joseph and Mary had to travel to Bethlehem?
Been around a good long while.

Yes, it would be a pain, if we had a biblical style census, and had to return to the place of our birth.

No way am I spending a March night in a hedgerow on Wiswell Lane, because there's no room at Bramley Meade.

:D

Re: 2011 Census

I think that in biblical times it was more of a head count than anything else Lindsay.

I think that many people are sort of programmed to accept the asking of intrusive questions......why does anyone need to know if I have central heating, or how many bedrooms I have....or for that matter what I did as a profession(that is in the past and could be gleaned from the census which was taken 10yrs ago and the 10 yrs before that).

All of this info could be obtained without asking me one single question.

I also object to the fact that although we have been given assurances that info won't be divulged(wanna bet) the statistical graphs will be shared with all 26 EU members and the US.
Lockheed Martin who have been given the contract to process the info have subcontracted work out to Edexel.......and another company(whose name escapes me for the moment) they(Edexel) do not have a good track record in either processing statistics or keeping the information secure.

Re: 2011 Census

I think I might well heed what Margaret R posted.

"This questionnaire has been completed to the best of my knowledge and belief."

At the time I fill in the more nosey bits, I'll do it in the belief that I'm a simpleton.

I might even have pulled an imaginary friend that night.
