How do you work that out?...one of the first things this government did was to increase foriegn aid to non-EU countries...the billions given to Ireland happened 6 months after the election...there is no provision in any EU charter that can force a member nation to give money to another member.

Actually Mancie, your nemesis isn't just spouting his normal doggerel & all ills are Labours fault stock reply, chapter 5 (in the attached link) sort of gives it away. Admittedly I can't see the sense in foreign aid either or any of the feeble arguments for it's continuation, I just can't see the justification while the UK itself is under so much pressure, charity is great when you can afford it, but at present UK can't & should look to sorting it's own first.

Britain could pay £6bn to bail out Portugal | This is Money

Ok if I'm wrong I'll hold me hands up..I've tried to find any binding "deal" or clause within EU charters but not been able... I'm not defending the EU. Brown or Darling, but it's getting abit of a drag having the excuse of the wrongs of the last government...this new government are in a postion to make changes, but they seem obsessed with making thier own people suffer most.

weve always owed trillions most cuts the tories are doing arent motivated by saving money but ideology motivated,i would like to see the percentage of all money they are spending and that means the money paid out to private organisations as well .

You don't seem to be singing from the same song sheet as your boy Osbourne regarding PFI.. the tories have given the go ahead to more PFI schemes in the last year than Brown ever did :):rofl38:

George Osborne backs 61 PFI projects despite earlier doubts over costing | Politics | The Guardian

Nothing to do with commodity brokers & shares traders, enforcing their will on the markets to make big bucks, things like the price of Oil, Gas, Cocoa, Gold, Wheat, no that'd not allow you to dubiously point the finger as always !

We've been here before 2 out of 10 for factual 11 out of 10 for persistence in blaming anyone but Labour. :)
