The Conservative councillors , after the Council elections , unanimously elected Peter Britcliffe to continue as their leader . I am puzzled as to why they did this . Surely they must be aware of how he is regarded by most of the people of Hyndburn . :confused:

The "Replay" on Twitter says it all really, he is an arrogant, rude and self opinionated prat. I haven't yet forgiven him for the extra stress he caused to my Uncle Ian when he was Labour leader and Mayor and schoolboy behaviour like this isn't doing him any favours. Evil, vitriolic little weeble!

John, I have seen him, but not met him......I am sure that so many people who have met him and had dealings with him cannot all be wrong.

I do not want to meet a man with such obvious disregard for the feelings of others.
