Kate I think you might be on your own in your enjoyment of his 'unique' way of posting.
Personally, I find it tedious and contrived....and that is the polite phrase for it.

Garinda's having one of those dead skin eating fishy pedicures, but has asked me to relay a message.

Garinda thought it was odd when UsedToBeKingHBC first posted in the third person singular, and still does.

Garinda is always reminded of the film Sybil, and fears that some might be waving bye-bye to sanity.

Groove would like to point out to Margaret that this is a free forum and he can post whatever he likes as long as it is not offensive or inflammatory to other users or anything else really. He thinks his posts are neither of these and is quite bemused at Margarets disdain for his method of posting. The novelty of this 3rd person speak may indeed wear off in time but until then Groove thinks Margo should chill out a bit and live and let live.

Groove would like to alert Garinda that certain BBV's (blood bourne virus's) can be transmitted by this latest fad.

Groove apologised Jaysay for any offense he may have caused to yourself and others with his slightly caustic remarks. He didnt apologise for his manner of speaking. Groove thinks Jaysay now owes him an apology for calling him a 'divvy' for the 2nd time. But Groove wont hold this against Jaysay as he thinks life is too short to bare grudges.

Firstly, I am Margaret, not Margo.

I did not express any disdain for your method of posting....and you are perfectly correct in your assumptions that you can post what you like, in any manner you like(except text speak, the rules forbid this) as long as you abide by the rules which you clearly stated.

What I did say, was that I personally, do not like your method of third person, and I stated clearly why I didn't like it. You may think it adds novelty to your posts......and you are entitled to hold whatever opinion you like. I think your posting is tedious, contrived and detracts for the subject matter of the post. That is my opinion, to which I am entitled.

I think you will find that I am one of the more moderate, and balanced posters on here, have been here a long time and have seen new members crash and burn for less.
