Re: Gadaffi captured

Well I've just been on a newspaper website and they have published some picks of what appears to be his last minutes of life, Um caught in a cross-fire, think somebody is telling some porky pies, I see the UN has ordered an investigation into the manner of his death, which should be interesting

I didn't put the link to the website because the photos were a bit graphic and not really for the eyes of younger members

Groove also thinks the pics on the front of todays newspapers are a bit too graphic and unsavoury.

Now Gaddafi has gone, they should re-arrest the Lockerbie bomber and extradite him back to Barlinnie to complete the rest of his sentence.

He is obviously not at deaths door or he would have died by now.

One item which everyone appears to have missed is that yesterday, the first indication in the House of Commons that the Colonel was captured or dead was raised in a point of order (in an otherwise droll planning debate) by a member of Accy Web.

Yep....step forward, Mr Jones! From the activities of crooked scrap metal merchants to the tyranical murder merchant of Sirte, our boy Graham is going places. Lets just hope come monday, he ignores the dubious dictators of Westminster, follows the overwhelming wishes of his constituents and votes 'Aye' for the EU referendum.

In a way, I kinda admire the guy ... he was a little weird, but there again Michael Jackson wasn't all that normal either; however, he said he would win or he would die. He had the balls to face what he knew was his inevitable fate. Good for him.:alright:

Yes......I realise that dictators and despots usually get their comeuppance........I just don't really want to see how gruesome men can be to each other. Maybe that is a fault in me....and I'm not saying the news must be sanitised for people like me........tell me about it, but please spare me the gruesome pictures.

Eric, just as an aside....has anybody ever defined what 'normal' is?

Groove thinks Elton John should release a song to commemorate this event...."Sandle in the wind".

Yes Taggy, and isn't it a worry that these savages will be running the country?

Not really, Eric. It looks like he was in a convoy trying to escape to Niger until it was caught by French aircraft so dying fighting in Libya or anywhere else wasn't part of his plan. They said part of the convoy with his son in it escaped and carried on, well, someone has to spend all those billions, don't they?
