That's right, go on, shatter my illusions. Here was I hoping at last that I had a chance of becoming seriously cool only to have my dreams of street cred cruelly whipped away from under my nose before I even got chance to get my white polo neck sweater out of the drawer. You can be so cruel, jay. I often wonder what I see in you.

I can agree with all of the above except for wise, although...

I am a little confused as to your reference to an owl, what on earth has any owl in their long period on this planet done that is so wrong that has them associated with a lapsed Tory?

Looks like you're wrong.

AFP: Tories get poll boost after EU spat

What percentage was your guesstimate, about the numbers who don't 'give a toss about Europe'?

As well as the Conservatives increasing their support, and Labour losing their's, the poll shows that 59% of the electorate demand an E.U. referendum, against 25% who don't.

Couldn't find any reference to the apparent 95%, who 'don't give a toss about Europe'.

We're still waiting for Mr. Jones to reference where he plucked those figures from.

Guess we're in for a long wait.

Luckily we're patient, and can bide our time.

But you don't vote..so although your opinion is always welcome it means nothing when shove comes to push.

Re: Did Graham Jones do the right thing?

I didn't vote in the last election...I spoilt my paper....I did go to the polling booth.
You know the reasons why I didn't vote. I was totally disillusioned with all the political parties....and still am...despite you thinking that I am a tory supporter.

And while I didn't vote last time, it does not mean that I won't vote next time.........I was hoping that Graham Jones would be more aware of the needs of the town....I am told that he was a good councillor for his ward......had that promise been fulfilled, I may have voted for him next time there was an opportunity......not now!

Who do you vote for in your little bit of south London, which has had Lib Dem Simon Hughes as the sitting M.P., since 1983?

Does your vote make a difference?
