What I do not agree with, is the wording of the draft bill which will change the denomination 'Husband and Wife' to 'Parties in Marriage' .
This is something that Stonewall is seeking for same sex marriages, because obviously there isn't (strictly speaking) a husband and wife.
They want to change something traditional, to the detriment of the many, for the benefit of the few.
Leave the husband and wife names as they are for heterosexual marriage, but allow same sex partnerships to assume the new format if they wish.
My husband is my husband...he is not a party in marriage.

Simply and honestly put. It's just another example of a minority overruling the majority - or the tail wagging the dog. I am certain that there are far more important things for parliament to discuss, but then again we are talking about politicians.

I'm with Margaret all the way on this.
Let's keep some tradition. Marriage has always been between a man and a woman- that's what they are, not 'parties'. That s just dehumanising it.
Same sex couples should have all the rights and laws a married couple have if they commit to a legalised union but what's wrong with that being a 'Civil Partnership'? It's a new idea-give it a new name.

Actually, now I think about it, just the two of us -it will be a doddle.

Ironing, cooking , cleaning, washing, shopping, bottle washing, you name it - no sweat. I also do excellent manicures and pedicures with reflexology massage. Oh and I have an A* diploma in changing duvet covers.:D

Garinda, you will only be required to push out the wheelie bins...nasty job.

What time do you like your late night cocoa and morning coffee in bed?

Coffee, at about 6.45 please. Strong, and just a splash of milk.

Cocoa. Don't bother.

I don't want to be a bother.

Give, give, give.

Just a Pastigle Leone in the evening please.

You can suprise me, with what flavour.

Oh what fun we'll have.

Pigling Bland, and Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle, setting up home together.

Oh, I'll do my share. I'm not a shirker.

As well as putting the rubbish out, I plump a very good cushion, and am a whizz with the Shake 'n' Vac.

PASTIGLIE LEONE - home page

Some mad, but very kind woman living in Italy, popped some in a hamper of goodies.

They're delicious.

Very moorish.

So much so the first small but beautiful tin was soon empty.

So the mad woman in Italy sent a parcel, containing nearly every flavour they make.

It's my treat, making one last for over an hour, whilst reading in bed.
