Well they don't actually have any money Neil, all they have is money collected from the council tax payer, and they are responsible for spending it wisely:rolleyes:

Sorry but I don't know why you mentioned me in that reply

I agree with what you say and its not an easy job because what one person sees as responsible spending another wont.

Just for the record, I have never been horse riding with anyone.

Ever.

My interest in the nags starts and ends on Grand National Day.

I have to say that the past three years have yielded fine returns for those £10 flutters.

£180 in 2009, £120 in 2010 and £80 in 2011.

We decided to reinvest immediately in alcohol stocks.

Thwaites Lightfoot at Rishton Con Club, Thwaites Original at the Rishton Arms and I'm pleased to announce that Green King IPA has just put in an appearance at the Roebuck Inn.

£2.00 a pint, you can't argue with that really.

Incredibly, the best beer deals around are at Booths. £8.00 for 8 bottles of various delight....Sneck Lifter, Jennings Cumberland Ale, Moorhouses Premier.....the list varies. Occasionally the price will hit the heady heights of 8 for £10 but you just have to take the rough with the smooth.

Oh, and Mann's Original Brown Ale at 89p a pop.

Thank you very hard.

There's the same kind of deal at Lidal, well I think thats where she gets um from, there's 8 different ones to chose from a couple of Jennings, John Willy Lees, Wainwrights etc. which is very refreshing :drink:

They're both subjects close to our hearts! (Well one is, the other's just important).
I'm off to Booths, see if I can get a family discount.

No, though I guess it would save a lot of hassle if they did lay their steaming little dog eggs, out of harms way in some nest, stuck up a big tree.

:D

No b ut I have seen little plastic bags hanging in trees, I assume that's the owners fault and not the dogs.

As a solution to this problem I might try feeding my dog poo bags and see if they come out ready wrapped

Re: Omg ott! DNA for dogs

Some responsible dog owners that I know sometimes hang the bags on the trees to remind them that when they return they can see the bag and pick it up to put it in the bin. It saves carrying the bag round for the rest of the walk. Syaing that some do forget them.

My poo comes out ready wrapped - recently had a colostomy and it means I now have a little bag attached to catch the poo and then it gets removed and replaced with a fresh one. Very convenient, actually, perhaps this is the answer for dogs?

From today, in N Ireland, dogs are licenced and microchipped (compulsory).

21 March 2012 - Commencement of powers to introduce compulsory microchipping of dogs | Northern Ireland Executive

Some dogs have had adverse health reactions to microchips.
