April Fools or What

1 Attachment(s)
Been in Accy Library looking in the Burgess Rolls,
noticed the staff watching the clock, people coming in asking to see the exhibition, turns out no one had had booked the room for an exhibiton, no contact had been made with the library, and some very angry visitors by 1-45, one had come from Blackburn to see the exhibition.
Is this another bloop by the Observer or clever beggar, having a late joke.

Relaw.

I read that Retlaw, and all sounded feasible.

Isn't this gentleman a regular contributor to the Readers' Letters ?

Very strange, and not a very funny joke. Don't think the Observer would instigate a joke of this nature.

Maybe Mr. Pratt couldn't get any petrol for his car ? :D

Yes, he is always prattling on in the observer.
I don't think its not having any petrol either,
no one at the libray had been contacted.
Before you stage an exhibition you need to know if there is a room avalable, you can't just walk into Local Studies, plonk your stuff on a table. That room is for what it says, Study, no talking.
May be the observer has been had as well.

Retlaw.

Has been said before, Jaysay. He is usually quite opinionated.

Will be interesting to see if anything in this week's Observer about his letter and 'ghost' exhibition.

Ya he's been writing to the Obs for years, he was about when I was a regular contributor, its very naughty though pushing a none event, and again the Observer being very laps in what they print, a bit sad really, but doubt if it would have happened in Mervyns time

Well they do print on page two, that if we have got it wrong tell us, but its too late the damage has been done. As Katex said he is opinionated, he sometimes praTTles on in the Lancs Telegraph as well.

I have emailed Accy Observer with a letter for the letters page asking for an explanation from Mr Pratt, he has some explaining to do. If this was someone's idea of joke it was too late for an April Fool's and not fair at all on the people who had travelled to see this bogus exhibition.

Davi Pratt has something to say about everthing. His letters are in the observer almost every week more so than Peter Britcliffe used to be. Spouting as much rubbish.
