They havn't moved on, but why should they when handouts are there every week?

Ya Linds they never look a gift horse in the mouth, they just pass the info on to other like minded people that there's an easy touch in Accrington come fill your boots, good news travels fast

There was an Item on Northwest News this morning about a food bank in Accrington, it did give the name (which didn't include Maundy) but can't remember it, no doubt Dorothy has something to do with it though

112 posts about this situation and not a single word from any of the councillors who are Accyweb members.

Says it all really.

Let me give you a clue

Bag snatchers prey on elderly women in Accrington (From Lancashire Telegraph)

People don't want to come in to town when they constantly get accosted/abused/witness the pathetic behaviour of these low life scum.

How simple do you want it ?

phew it reads that the police are issuing purse alarms

for a second i thought they were going to remove all the elderly from town

maybe maundy should issue limits on how often they help each person like so many hand outs and your cut off for 12 months.Like others have said its the same group of faces its like its their meeting point.

as for the purse snatchers one can only hope someone manages to snott them before the police get there because the courts love a good i cant help it im a junkie excuse and nothing gets done

Nah, when you're saintly, you just keep on turning the other cheek.

There's no such thing as naughty people.

They simply need Jesus in their lives, food parcels, and twenty quid...for the 'leccy'.

;)

"It's very sad because he could have asked for anything he wanted and he would have got it." Just about sums it up, as does her comment that this lowlife is a "sweet boy".

And still the local councillors stay silent...

You can't bet your last penny that if this had been 2 years ago this thread would have been over 200 posts long with HBCs number one Britcliffe basher having contributing over half the posts;)
