i no longer visit Blackburn at all. It is like being in a foreign land.
The report about the attitude of young muslim males is prevalent in many North west towns.
They seem to think that white people should only be allowed in certain areas. No go areas have been created. There is little integration an even less cohesion.
This is not a politically correct view, so we are discouraged from mentioning it for fear of being branded racist, but there is an equal amount of racism coming from muslims....but we aren't supposed to mention that either.

Wonderful atmosphere in there, everyone friendly and helpful, picture of Wellington and Napoleon side by side. Always one of my favourite watering holes when passing through Paris - hell of a lot friendlier than many pubs in UK.

Seems the Eyties are getting uppity with their Brussels pay masters & their lack of alacrity in moving their incoming Doctors, Scientists & Engineers further on up country into the wider EU.

There have been a number of posters on here saying this for as long as the boats have been crossing the sea...they are Not refugees....the majority are men, not families.
Ok there have been some families, but they are in a minority.
When a rich country like Germany says 'come to us...' They set sail.
They do NOT stay in the country where first safe landfall occurs because they are NOT REFUGEES.
THEY ARE NOT DISPLACED BY WAR...they are economic migrants who see this as a way of getting a foothold in Europe.
Angela Merkel is responsible for creating chaos, it never was a humanitarian crisis...it is an economic crisis.

Some migrants have taken to travelling 1st class train from Italy to France - no tickets, just tell the train staff to go away. If, if, the police are called they can be removed from the train, but then just get on the next one heading for Calais via Paris.

The island is Gruinard. I think that live bombing ranges may have been phased out in UK. There was an electronic bombing range in Northern England, there were live ranges that I knew of in the Wash, off the South Coast of Wales and in Sardinia, Benbecula is/was a live missile firing range. Of course I am going back a few years.

This should have happened a long long time ago.
The acceptance of these people(who are economic migrants...NOT refugees) has meant that they will keep on coming until countries get wise and close the door.

What the acceptance of so many single males has done is to make it far harder for real genuine refugees to find places(real refugees will accept the first safe landfall and usually consist of families....with an equal proportion of women and children).

Sajid Javid has come in fo a lot of flack on social media(not sure which branch of social media...it is not something I am familiar with) the loony hand wringing liberals are saying that it is inhumane not to accommodate these 'refugees'.
I was not aware that France was a hostile country.
They are not refugees, they are economic migrants who want to by pass entry requirements.

In fact these people who risk their lives to get into this country, do so because we are soft.
We will look after their housing needs, their health care....they know that they will get money to live....and will be able(at some point in the future) to bring extended family into the country.
So if Sajid Javid does not grasp the nettle and send them back....more will come in boats, tubs, oil drums....any vessel that will float.

We pay France 44.5 million pounds to stop the migrants from making the crossing.
This is no small amount. France is not doing the job so perhaps we should be telling them that funds will be withdrawn.
This problem needs urgent and decisive attention.
