do not know about cats but certain breeds of dog seem to get it more than others. had german shepherds, husky/alaskan malumute crosses and rottweilers and only the latter breed seem to get it. had 4 of the latter, still have one and they have all had it.

Wicked stuff that, local farms sell it in 5ltr cannisters & you have to drink it within about 2-3 days or it turns into vinegar, so from the off you're on a hiding to nothing! :D
