Re: The drive for net zero.
That, Taddy was a spam post….and while I could not read most of it there were a couple of English words in there….not sure if it was Thai or Viet….but it mentioned Sugar Baby and Dating site….so from that we can guess it was not a post that should be on the Accyweb forum.
Thankfully, it has now been dealt with. |
Re: The drive for net zero.
Thank you Marge. the only "Spam" that I know about comes in a tin and I hate the stuff.

Re: The drive for net zero.
No…don’t tell me that you never get unwanted e-mails…or junk mail through your door.
This was unlikely to be AI generated and at one time we used to get these incursions into the forum frequently. Mick used to jump on them quick sticks and they were very quickly removed and the poster banned. |

Another summer’s morning in the UK and 73% of our electricity is being generated from nuclear, gas, and coal.
Wonder how many more windmills and solar farms (made in China, obvs) would we need to all replace that? |

Now we’re getting into winter, the NutZero’s fantasies are beginning to bite.
Relatively mild, November morning and, to provide the country with enough electricity, that nasty coal is producing as much energy as both wind and solar. Thank heavens for that equally hurty gas which is providing 60%. Click on image to enlarge. |

Similar situation tonight for GB’s electricity generation - 60+% from gas.
Interestingly, there are apparently 11-11,500 wind turbines in the UK. https://www.greenmatch.co.uk/green-energy/wind So, on tonight’s performance, it would require another 50,000+ turbines for wind to fully replace gas as a means of generating electricity. |
Re: The drive for net zero.
If you have them, show this 8 minute clip to your grand-children.
They are the ones whose lives will be impoverished if we don’t wake up to the insanity of Net Zero. https://thehighwire.com/ark-videos/t...limate-change/ |
Re: The drive for net zero.
Thank you for that Exile.
I think that when future generations look back on this part of history, they will wonder how the population could be so manipulated by computer models….models that have been configured by men….to predict something without recourse to evidence. They will laugh at our naïveté (or maybe it is arrogance on the part of those scientists who believe their own propaganda). Another interesting and thought provoking post from you…great! |
Re: The drive for net zero.
Oh and did you see that some un-named Saudi company have put in plans to propagate the Brontë moors with 65 wind turbines that are 40 metres higher than Blackpool tower?
That will be visible from as far away as Preston. There is an action group fighting this development but how much would you put on the action group not succeeding? https://www.magzter.com/stories/news...RONTS-WANDERED Read about it here. |

Re: The drive for net zero.
These turbines are going to be built(if planning permission goes ahead) on a grouse moor so their installation will be detrimental to the wild life.

I am with you Cashy, To me the worlds climate has been changing ever since the world began, (after six days according to the God botherers), or Millions of years according to the scientists ! take your pick. ;);) |
