I think Mj is guilty of being a pedophile, a group that does not believe that they are doing anything wrong in sleeping with children, as such he sees nothing wrong with his behavior, Wether he will be found guilty of not is probably irrelevant , he needs to be stopped though how I'm not sure. Where are his children during all this ? Hopefully nowhere near him Pam

I do feel sorry for his children and I hope that somehow eventually they will be able to lead as normal a life as possible.

I am still undecided on this case. Michael Jackson said that he only slept in the same bed as them, that nothing actually happened. I am probably not that good a judge of character, but I found myself believing him, implausible though it sounds.

Certainly in this country (U.K.), for downloading child porn from the internet a pervert can get up to 10 years in jail AND THAT IS WITHOUT MOLESTING ANYONE!! So M. Jackson ACTUALLY climbed into bed with underage children (he admits it) and exposed himself to the children (overwelming statements) He is guilty of that if nothing else.

My prediction is a jail term of 7 years! (that will be 20 years less than he deserves)

Even if "nothing happened" how on earth can it be normal for a young boy to sleep in the same bed as a middle aged stranger?

If this was some guy in Accy doing this wouldn't we be up in arms about it? Why does the fact that he is famous make it OK?

I watched a program on TV last night (when I really should have been in bed) which included some interviews with people who had been Michael Jackson's "special friends" but once they reached puberty he didn't want to know them any more. The phone calls suddenly stopped and he avoided them and moved on to another "special friend". There was even a family who had had him staying in their home and sharing their son's bed. Now that I find impossible to understand. There is no way he would ahve shared a room with a child of mine let alone a bed.

It wasn't actually any of the children or their families who had reported him to the police. It was a psychologist who had watched the Martin Bashir program and had seen, in his actions and in the things which were spoken about, the signs of a paedophile and she spoke to the authorities about her concern.

It seems that his family has expressed concern to Michael over 20 years ago but he ignored them. Sister Janet was on there defending him and saying that he wouldn't change his behaviour because he was innocent of any wrong doing.

I find the whole idea of a man in his 40s playing with little boys in preference to adult friendships and sleeping in the same bed with them to be very, very creepy.

The man is weird. Agreed he did not have a normal childhood, but that is no excuse. He has carried plastic surgery over into self-mutilation. His attitude towards his own chlidren is abnormal, look at how he insisted on their being veiled to go to the zoo!

There must be some evidence, it would not have passed the Grand Jury otherwise.

Whilst most normal people would not allow their children into such a situation, there are those who would do anything for a brush with fame and money, even as far as putting their children at risk.

Sadly the whole thing is going to be a media circus, and a conviction is far from certain. However, at least it may stop his pretty little ways, even if he gets off. If he was not rich and famous, he would have been sectioned years ago!
