I loved history at school and had a fantastic teacher, Bill Green. He was strict but fair and you could also have a laugh with him. He gave me a love of history and incentive to study and I am thankful for that. RE was taught by Mr Mc Caffrey and Mr Webb. I did quite well in RE but was never really that interested in the finer details of it. I think that both subjects are valuable to todays children. How can anyone know where they're going if they don't know where they've been..:D

I enjoyed I'm the King of the Castle (can't remember the author).
I used to spend quite a few lunchtimes in the Library, reading. Mainly Willard Price (Hal & Roger Hunt). I used to also enjoy the Hardy Boys, but there weren't any of them in the Library. |
