If there was no place for porn then the industry wouldn't be so lucrative. I think there should be some restrictions, I wouldn't like to turn on daytime TV and get an eyeful of somebody's nethers (although it would probably be better viewing than the drivel we have to tolerate now) Late night TV shouldn't be a problem, the only kids watching telly after 11pm are those whose parents probably couldn't care less anyway. Blackpool is as tacky as a place can get and it's about time the stag/hen do image was improved. If you want a good day out with the kids take them to the Lakes/ Dales/ or to some of our superb interactive museums ie, film and photography at Bradford....... Honestly, superb day out and no porn.:D

yeah I agree with you on that tinks! but I agree with vorlon on the nudity part, now zack is getting a bit too old to be seeing me naked! but, when he was little we used to take a bath in the same bath! i'm his mother and he never used to question why I was different to him because he just got used to it (omg just had flash backs of a very embarrasing moment with jemma):eek:

As long as Man has created two dimensional representations of the world there has been ponography. l use 'Man' in a non-generic sense, although it was probably a man who first daubed 'dirty' drawings on the cave wall! Men seem much more visually stimulated by pictures than women, hence the failure in recent years of this sort of material aimed at only women,[it was still bought by men!]
l'm suprised that no one objected to pornography on the grounds of exploitation, particularly of women, which l think is a step forward. We seemed more interested in protecting the morals of children, rightly so.
lt looks like we still have a Nanny [State], but we're now grown up enough not to really need her anymore.

Tink i will agree to a certain point.Its nice to keep kids, kids.In the end though if you cannot talk about it or show feelings about ít then children start thinking that its something bad.Hence they want to try it out.I think that if a lot more parents were a bit open minded then there could possibly not be so many 1 parented families out there.
In the end i only wanted to drink beer when i was younger because my parents told me it was bad.I started when i was 14.Ended up on a rehab by the time i was 24

I think we may well need a definition of pornography. If you are talking about the fact that men and women have sexual relationships then I do agree that if people were more open and frank about such things instead of tales about gooseberry bushes and storks then children would have a healthier attitude and there wouldn't be the "dirty giggling".

I'm not sure about the one parent families bit. There may be more to it than that.

I've always been open and frank about things to my children. I don't class that as pornography. There's a bit of a difference between that and letting small children watch adults actually in the act. I think that may possibly be classed as abuse. There is also a sense of double standards with what Garinda was saying. In an educational situation it seems nonsensical to censor images.

Thats because the links are for setting the record option on my satellite receiver which is on my LAN with no access from the internet. I could stream the video/audio to your PC so you could watch the programs, but you would probably go blind ;).

Just to make the point that the sex industry as always been here,I went to Turkey to Kusadasi,near by is the ruined city of Ephesus,it was the home of one of the seven wonders of the world the temple of Artemis,now they claim to have the world's oldest advert,it's thousands of years old,it's not for trainers or fizzy pop,If my pc was a good one I'd plonk the advert on here to show you,it's a footprint,words craved next to it say's "follow me" it's for a brothel! now I've been told that some of the murals at Pompeli are in the words of Frankie Howard "ooooooh missus!";) :)
