There's a bit in the rules

Quote:

Nudity / Pornographic & Adult Material: Nude and pornographic material is not acceptable anywhere in the AccyWeb community. Overly suggestive photographs/pictures will most likely be considered adult material and removed.
I suppose it depends on how suggestive the image is perceived to be. I think the rule is there because this site welcomes children in its membership and tries to keep the content "certificate U" :)

I preferred Tom Baker, but he was the first one I remember watching.

As for other Sci Fi, I thought Babylon 5 was one of the best ever Sci Fi programmes, much better than Deep Space Nine (which was also good, but not up the standard of B5).

I hope they show it again (on terrestrial tv!)

I think Babylon 5 was more grown up si-fi, people got killed and it was very cleaver how they linked it all together, with q nqme like Vorlon24 I should have known you might have been a B5 fan!:)

Tom Baker's winning - that really surprises me. Come on all you Jon Pertwee fans, there's got to be some of you out there - get voting.

Dr Who's next as Ecclestone quits

Actor Christopher Eccleston has quit his role as time-travelling hero Dr Who after just one episode of the new series was screened, the BBC says.

Eccleston, who took up the ninth reincarnation of the Timelord, feared being typecast.

He said he was planning new projects and that he found filming the 13-part series gruelling.

"The audience's response for the new Dr Who has been incredible and I am really proud to be part of it and I hope viewers continue to enjoy the series," Eccleston said in a statement on Thursday.

Talks to replace him with period drama "Casanova" star David Tennant for the second series were taking place, the BBC said.

Former pop star Billie Piper who plays Dr Who's sidekick Rose will appear in the next series. Dr Who first appeared in 1963 and became a huge hit despite its unconvincing monsters and wobbly sets. The programme was relaunched last Saturday, attracting around 10 million viewers, after being off air since 1989.

.

I'm not surprised, he was an odd choice in the first place. I think he's really good though so it's a shame he's leaving. I think David Tennant will be just as good, if not better - did anyone see him in Blackpool (the prog, not the town)?
