Doctor Who?

Watched it last night and thought it was good. So who is your favourite Dr Who? I'm sure most people will pick the one who was on when they first started watching. My favourite is Jon Pertwee, a bit foppish but great fun - ruined it totally for me when he became Worzel Gummidge, I couldn't take the Dr seriously again.

I think I will pick Tom Baker. Why not make this thread a poll?

I am old enough to have seen them all.
I reckon Patrick Troughton was my favourite, though I think this new series will prove to be the best.

I used to watch it in the early 60s, frightened me to death then. I would hide behind the cushion. Never appealed to me as i got older.

I used to like it years ago, Tom Baker and k9 were my fav's,but Bonnie Langford and Sylvester Macoy did my head in! and I never watched after that! I watched last night and thought it was good, Babylon 5 was the best sci-fi show for me!

Re: Doctor Who?

I agree that Stargate is the best Sci fi around (personally thought Enterprise was a bit of washout and prefered Voyager in that vein). But Dr Who is the best British sci fi - and please don't anyone go off into raptures about Blakes 7.

I'd happily set up a poll - anyone want to tell me how to do it?

Erm, I much prefer Dr Who for stuff produced this side of the pond. As for U.S. Sci-Fi, any body seen Atlantis yet?

Incidentaly, On the subjest of the Dr. Who remembers that naff song from the ninetys of the same name - The video to the song had an american police car driving round a car park smashing up Daleks.
