Chav......I DO know what you mean......I have seen a fair few of those around.
I admit that I haven't got the figure I had 20 years ago.......when I buy jeans I test them by seeing if I can bend down in them......If I can't I get a bigger size. |

just caught up with this thread, & i had a jeans & t-shirt party for my 60th birthday party, most turned up wearing jeans, & im the YOUNGEST of my mates, the woman should take a running jump into the thames , if its comfy WEAR IT is wot i say.

I suppose Levi Strauss would be totally amazed that denim jeans are considered a fashion item nowadays.
They were originally designed to be hard wearing and comfortable, for practical purposes. Maybe it's us old uns who wear them when working who should be telling the young lasses that they are too young and fashion conscious to wear something as down to earth as denims? Quite seriously, wear what you like and what you feel comfortable in and what is practical. If I'm in a muddy field I wear jeans. If I'm going out for the evening I wear a skirt, nothing to do with what anyone else thinks and everything to do with what I feel most comfortable in for the occasion. |
