In the Daily Mail yesterday Lowri Turner was castigating women over the age of 40 for wearing Jeans.

Should women of a certain age give up wearing jeans?

Do you think jeans should only be worn by young women?

I would be interested to hear the views of Accywebbers

I don't think anybody in the media should decide what people can wear, if people feel comfortable in jeans, whatever their age, wear them with pride!

Margaret u should be able to wear whatever u like, nowt wrong with jeans its universal to any age [im not ageist] stuff Lowri what does she know?!? Trouble with this country too many ppl have far too many opinions on how ppl should or shouldnt do n apply it to media pressure to make it out wrong for ppl to wear whatever they like...as long as u is happy with what u wear then stuff anyone else is my answer LOL

Here l go again name droppin' but l know that poison little dwarf Lowri Turner. The only person who shouldn't wear jeans is her. l'd like to see her in a denim strait jacket.

People should wear whatever they like, l hate fashion fascists.

:( oh I've got a bee in my bonnet about this one!! My mum is 40+ and still looks cracking in a pair of jeans. Why should women always be dictated too about what they should and should not wear!

Lowri Turner used to be the television reviewer for The Evening Standard, l don't know how on earth she dare set herself up as a fashion journalist.
she was rubbish at reviewing TV as well.

That is just the response I wanted. I am going to write to The Mail and ask them who died and nominated Lowri Turner a fashion Guru?????

I am 57.......proud of it and I will wear jeans......or whatever takes my fancy.
I dress to please myself........and if Lowri Turner doesn't like it......she can avert her eyes!

Yeah I have a feeling your right just because Mrs. Turner doesn't feel that she looks good in jeans let's transfer this complex to every 40+ women in the country and give them a complex too!

I don't think it is always about looking good. It is about being comfortable with who you are........I have got to the stage in my life when I don't have to prove anything to anyone.
Fashion isn't about being comfortable.......ask those stick thin models!

Yep I agree tinks, mum does still look good in a pair of jeans. I am glad there isn't a age limit on wearing jeans cos when I get to 50 years old, if I can't still wear jeans.........I'm not wearing anything so stick that in ya pipe you supposed fasion woman!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D
